Discussions will cover aspects of adaptation by managers and communities to protect infrastructure vulnerable to sea level rise on the coast of the Carolinas.
Dr. Jessica Whitehead, Coastal Hazards Specialist at NC Sea Grant, and Malorey Henderson, Staff Enhancement Education Specialist at NC Wildlife Resources Commission, will provide short presentations, followed by an open discussion with the audience.
This seminar is sponsored by the Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center (SE CASC) and hosted by the SE CASC Global Change Fellows. It is the final of three seminars covering Sea Level Rise Impacts, Human Stories, and Adaptation in North Carolina.
